Sunberry Papaya

Sunberry is our latest Papaya Variety, similar to "Red Lady 786," known for its rapid growth and high yield. This variety is disease-resistant with a high virus tolerance of 90-95%. It produces large fruits weighing between 2 to 3 kilograms each, slightly less sweet than some varieties at 10-12% Brix level. Sunberry focuses on round-shaped papayas, offering a visually distinct harvest. With excellent transportability, the fruits can last for 1800-1900 kilometers of transport or 10-12 days of storage. Sunberry matures relatively quickly, with flowers appearing within 45-60 days and fruit development in just 6 months. The plant has a shorter life cycle of 14-16 months but remains productive throughout that time, making it a valuable addition to any garden.
