Dr. M. Narayanan

Dr. M. Narayanan is an agriculturist, researcher, entrepreneur, and founder of Dr. Vivasayam (doctor vivasayam), a pioneering agricultural initiative dedicated to promoting sustainable and scientific farming practices. With a strong passion for agriculture and farmer empowerment, he has devoted his efforts to bridging the gap between agricultural research and practical field implementation.

Dr. M. Narayanan holds a Diploma in Agricultural Extension Services for Input Dealers (DAESI), B.Sc. in Agriculture, B.E. in Computer Science and Engineering, M.E. in Computer Science and Engineering (Distinction), and a Ph.D. in Computer Science and Engineering. His unique multidisciplinary background enables him to integrate agricultural science, engineering, research, biotechnology, innovation, and modern technology to develop practical solutions for sustainable farming. With a strong commitment to farmer welfare and agricultural advancement, his vision is to empower farming communities through high-quality planting materials, agricultural biotechnology, modern cultivation technologies, and reliable technical guidance that enhance productivity, profitability, and long-term sustainability.

Driven by a commitment to sustainable agriculture, Dr. M. Narayanan established Dr. Vivasayam Papaya Nursery Farm, a modern polyhouse-based nursery specializing in the production of premium-quality papaya seedlings. Through scientific nursery management practices and strict quality standards, the nursery supplies healthy and vigorous planting materials to farmers across various regions.

To further serve the horticulture sector, he founded Dr. Vivasayam Nursery Garden, which produces high-quality vegetable and flower seedlings for farmers, commercial growers and home gardeners. The nursery focuses on delivering healthy seedlings that help improve crop establishment, productivity, and profitability.

Recognizing the growing importance of agricultural biotechnology, Dr. M. Narayanan also established DR VIVASAYAM BIOTECH, an initiative dedicated to the promotion and production of high-quality tissue culture banana plants. Through biotechnology-driven propagation methods, the organization aims to provide disease-free, genetically uniform, and high-yielding planting materials that support modern agriculture and sustainable farming systems.

Through the Dr. Vivasayam platform, Dr. M.Narayanan actively shares agricultural knowledge, cultivation techniques, nursery management practices, irrigation methods, nutrient management strategies, and crop protection technologies with farmers. His educational initiatives, training programs, field demonstrations, and digital outreach activities have helped thousands of farmers gain access to practical and scientific agricultural information.

In addition to his agricultural contributions, Dr. M.Narayanan has published numerous research papers and holds multiple Indian patents, reflecting his commitment to innovation and knowledge creation. His contributions to education, research, and community development have earned him several prestigious national and international recognitions.
